Celtic will head to Germany to face Red Bull Leipzig in their Europa League group match on Thursday night.
The Scottish Premiership champions have struggled when it comes to playing away games in European matches and will be looking to put that right.
The Bhoys were beaten in their last fixture in the competition by Red Bull Salzburg and will be looking for an improved performance.
However, Brendan Rodgers will be without a number of his key players for the game, which will make their task a lot harder.
According to the club’s official website, Leigh Griffiths, Scott Brown and Tom Rogic are all unavailable, whilst Filip Benkovic will face a late fitness test and James Forrest is ruled out because of suspension.
Rodgers and Celtic will have been devastated by the news that four of their key men are unavailable, whilst another could be ruled out at the last minute.
Griffiths has not returned to training following an injury he picked up that led him to controversially withdraw from the Scotland national side, whilst Brown picked up his latest knock in the victory over Hibernian at the weekend and Rogic has not travelled.
Celtic have a poor record when playing in European competition away from home and with the absence of their three stars, they will need to be at their very best to come away from Germany with a positive result.
