Celtic are reportedly already thinking about their future, as the club have been linked with young star James Graham. But they are not the only side interested, with Premier League giants Manchester United keeping tabs on the player, according to The Scottish Sun.
The 15 year-old striker, who currently plays in the youth ranks at Scottish side Ross County, has already had a trial at United and according to the report the Red Devils want to see him up close again when football resumes again.
As well as Celtic and United, it is also thought that Wolves are monitoring his situation and could also try and sign him.
He has only been at Ross County for a year, but is already progressing massively and he has even featured for the under-18’s, whilst earning rave reviews at The Staggies.
Graham also spent a fortnight at the Red Devils’ bitter rivals Liverpool, where he netted twice against Notts County for the under-16s then was picked again to play for the under-17s against Sheffield United, via The Scottish Sun. This highlights that he definitely has something about him.
With links to Premier League giants Manchester United and Liverpool, and with the attacker impressing during spells at both sides, Celtic should be doing everything they can possibly do to try and get the young starlet and build towards their future.
It will be tough to get him if United do to maintain their interest, but he is already making waves at the tender age of 15 and he is certainly worth trying to get through the door as he could well turn into a star.
Getting him could help the Hoops continue their dominance over Scottish football. They look set to win their ninth title in a row, via Transfermartkt, this year and adding a prospect like Graham could see them winning more titles in the future.
