With the season in Scotland over, and Celtic now planning to try and win their tenth title in a row, per Transfermarkt, it looks like they are already eyeing up new players as they are interested in Championship winger Michael Olise.
According to The Daily Mail, Celtic have placed teenage Reading winger Michael Olise on a list of potential transfer targets.
Olise is only 18 years-old, via WhoScored, but has already been trusted with six starts and four substitute appearances totalling 569 minutes of football, whilst he has managed to pick up one assist along the way. It is clear to see he has impressed not just people associated with Reading but also Celtic and to do this at such a young age highlights the potential he has.
Are you happy that the club are scouting players for the future?
Looking more into what he has done on the pitch it seems that he is an attacking winger who has a lot of confidence as he has completed on average 1.7 successful dribbles a game, via WhoScored. He was also fouled 1.7 times a game which emphasises that defenders struggle to take the ball off him.
He is held in high regard by his home nation France who have given him two appearances in their U19 side and this just adds to the reasons as to why this would be a great signing for the future for the Hoops.
If the Scottish side are able to acquire the player, they certainly would have a player with plenty of potential on their books who could turn out to be a future star.
