Celtic: Fans dread facing Efe Ambrose with Livingston move complete

Yesterday, former Celtic defender Efe Ambrose made his return to the Scottish Premiership by signing for Livingston, prompting fears amongst some of the Bhoys’ supporters online.
The 31-year-old turned out for the Hoops between 2012 and 2017 before moving to Hibernian, winning four league titles and both domestic cups during his career in green and white but the thought of potentially coming up against the Nigerian on March 4th in West Lothian has scared a number of Twitter users.
While, in truth, the title race is far from close with Neil Lennon’s Bhoys 10 points clear as things stand, the notion of coming up against a former player appears to have worried the fans below. After all – while he’s obviously not on the same level in terms of status at Celtic – this is a club who had to watch Henrik Larsson score against them after years of glorious service in green and white.
With that in mind, here’s a look at how fans reacted to the move online.

I’m not ready for Efe Ambrose to throw the title race wide back open when he has a masterclass performance against us in a few weeks. https://t.co/0UAfglnFHn
