Local hero Burns, who according to celticfc.net described himself as a supporter who got lucky to play for the club, won six league titles, five Scottish Cups and one League Cup with the Hoops.

He returned to the club as manager in 1994, six years after his playing career at Parkhead ended, and led Celtic to a Scottish Cup triumph a year later. [via celticfc.net]
