Former St Johnstone defender Joe Shaughnessy was asked by the Daily Record & Sunday Mail for his say on Celtic striker Odsonne Edouard and Glasgow counterpart Alfredo Morelos.
When asked which of the two forwards he would rather go up against, the 27-year-old said that he would be more fearful of lining up against Morelos [via Daily Record & Sunday Mail], with a link to the piece published on the @SundayMailSport Twitter account.

However, the Celtic man has a far superior record in Glasgow derbies – he has netted five times in as many appearances against his club’s fierce rivals, including one in last week’s 2-0 win at Ibrox, whereas Morelos has never scored against Celtic in seven derbies.
These Celtic fans on Twitter feel that there is only one winner when the two strikers are compared:
There’s a debate? Absolutely hilarious

Stop with this tripe. There is no comparison. How many goals has Morelos scored against Celtic? pic.twitter.com/mxq9TzUP3d

Morelos is Colombia’s version of Liam Boyce.

Edouard batters them time and time again. Morelos more red cards against Celtic than goals. Left out last week because he can't be trusted.
Edouard is younger, faster, a better finisher, has better movement and is just in general a far superior footballer in every department.

I see the usual biased reporting from the Daily Rangur & yourself. But please keep it going, the noise is deafening coming from you & Sevco but the silent ones in Green do our talking on the pitch……now remind me of the score last week & indeed who scored….I rest my case!
