question mark

How many goals did Chris Sutton score for the club?

It was not just a historic day as they won yet another title but it was also a historic campaign as they won the league title as well that year and secured their ninth title in a row.

This is very similar to the Celtic squad of the present day, who were looking to secure their ninth league title in a row prior to the pandemic. The Hoops currently sit 13 points clear of Old Firm rivals Rangers who have nine games left to play whilst Celtic have eight (BBC Sport).

However with football currently postponed it is unknown what will happen to the current campaign. Some reports have suggested the league will be abandoned and Celtic will be given the title whilst Hearts are relegated, per The Guardian.

Loads of Bhoys fans were left reminiscing about the 1974 win, here is what some had to say…

Celtic fans, what are your thoughts of this great day? Comment below!
