Many Celtic fans are loving the latest thoughts from manager Neil Lennon as he was discussing what he wants to happen to the current campaign which is postponed due to recent events.
As the league stands, the Hoops sit top, 13 points clear of arch rivals Rangers in second, via BBC Sport, and there have been various talks about how to sort out the league if football continues to stay postponed.
One favourable idea is to abandon the league, which would gift Celtic the title whilst relegating Heart of Midlothian, per The Guardian. This has infuriated Rangers fans, who feel like the Bhoys just want to be gifted the title.
However Lennon’s recent stance highlights that the club want the opposite as the club tweeted, via Celtic FC: “But in the fullness of time, the Hoops boss would like to see his team back playing and completing the 2019/20 season, if that is practicable.”
The Celts fanbase have loved this because it now means that Rangers fans who were saying the club just wanted to be awarded the league were wrong, and the Hoops faithful have been quick to flood the club tweet mocking their rivals.
Here is what they had to say following the post:
#CelticFC's Neil Lennon understands and appreciates the expert medical advice on people staying safe and staying at home.
But in the fullness of time, the Hoops boss would like to see his team back playing and completing the 2019/20 season, if that is practicable. 🟢

9 in a row either way on or off the park, were the finest team in Scotland , 13 points clear at the top and already beat the 2nd place runner up twice this season easy peasy.

But, but but, he wanted it called now as we were terrified of the greatest comeback in history from the team that got beat by Hamilton at home.
