Celtic: Fans not impressed with loan signing of Moritz Bauer

Celtic have added to their defensive options with the loan signing of right-back Moritz Bauer from Stoke for the 2019/20 season.
The Daily Record reported that the 27-year-old Austria international has joined the Hoops on a season-long loan, with the defender unveiled at a press conference yesterday, from which Clyde 1 Superscoreboard (@ClydeSSB) tweeted some of his quotes.
New Celtic signing Moritz Bauer says the fans are getting “a very hard worker…I’m maybe not the most talented guy but I make it up with work…I like to play attacking football…I bring some pace, I bring some dynamics” pic.twitter.com/Tu4R0J1MV1

Bauer went for a modest approach in telling Celtic fans what they can expect from him, saying: “I’m maybe not the most talented guy but I make it up with work.”
The Austria right-back, who averaged 1.3 crosses per game for Stoke in the Championship last season, comes to Celtic Park having not featured for the Potters at all in the early weeks of the 2019/20 campaign.
He played 15 times in the 2017/18 Premier League after joining Stoke from Rubin Kazan mid-season but was limited to just 12 appearances in all competitions last season.
Bauer started only six times for Stoke in the Championship in 2018/19 and played a mere 595 minutes in the division over the whole campaign. [via WhoScored.com]
These Celtic fans on Twitter do not seem wholly convinced by his abilities upon learning of his arrival at the club:
