Celtic: Fans on Twitter call for Joe Ledley signing after Forster loan

Thursday was a very good day for Celtic fans, not only did they secure a solid 2-0 lead in their first-leg against AIK in a Europa League qualifier, but they also announced the signing of Fraser Forster on-loan, midway through the first half against AIK.

After that announcement of the goalkeeper, the fans were delighted, but it seems it wasn’t just the fans who were pleased to welcome the shot-stopper, as former Celtic man Joe Ledley also took to Twitter to show his love for the return of the gloveman to Parkhead.

After seeing Ledley on Twitter, a lot of Celtic fans, as you will see below, were quick to call for the veteran Welshman to follow Forster back as Neil Lennon is supposedly getting the band back together. The 32-year-old is currently without a club after leaving Derby back in January, Transfermarkt, so a Celtic return perhaps isn’t a ludicrous idea, given the player has previously praised his former manager.

You can read the Hoops’ calls for Ledley’s return here:

These Bhoys seem to love the idea of bringing their ex-stars back in, and it’ll be interesting to see if Ledley is an option for Neil Lennon.
