Celtic manager Neil Lennon has hinted that the Hoops could have a busy January when the transfer window reopens, telling the Daily Record that he will bring in at least two players next month and potentially as many as four.
The 48-year-old’s comments about his January transfer plans were subsequently shared by @celticbible on Twitter.
🗣 Neil Lennon speaking about the January transfer window: “I’d see a minimum of two — and no more than four — coming in and we’re working away on that. But it’s difficult to do deals in January and get the right quality.” pic.twitter.com/T1GSY2tI28

Celtic have been linked with several potential new additions in recent days. The Scottish Sun reported on Monday that the Hoops were in talks with Slovan Bratislava about a potential deal for striker Andraz Sporar.
Additionally, the Scottish champions dispatched scouts to Germany to watch Hertha Berlin forward Sebastian Andersson (as reported by Bild), while The Scottish Sun claimed that Celtic have also been watching Brazilian defender Fabricio Bruno, who is suing his club Cruzeiro over non-payment of wages.
Lennon told the Daily Record that, in addition to prospective new signings, he also expects some players to leave next month as he seeks to streamline his squad.
These Celtic fans took to Twitter to make their wish lists for the January transfer window:
Centre half back up and a striker. Ship some out 👍 don’t need more

Instead of buying nobodies or pote tial players we need 1 solid striker in, anything else is a bonus our squad is big enough, unless we sell or loan out players too, then bring in a couple more, we’ve so much talent in youth teams, flex, Dembele, Afolabi give them games

If we got a quality striker and nobody else I’d be happy……would rather we invest all our budget on a striker rather than a striker & 2/3 others Lenny already has problems keeping everyone in squad happy…..

Absolutely imperative that we sign forster on a permanent deal this window

Sporar and Wanyama would be good but knowing us it’ll be Jordan Rhodes on loan and the return of Efe Ambrose. 😅
