James Tavernier was recently talking to Sky Sports, and a lot of Celtic fans are reacting to his comments.

The 28-year-old defender spoke about the current situation which sees the league postponed due to recent events, and he has explained how he would be ready for the campaign to continue if there is a way to play the remaining fixtures.

He went on to say, per The Daily Record, “We’ve got a winning mentality as players and as a club.” This comment has entertained the Hoops fanbase, who are commenting on the performances of their Old Firm rivals this campaign and mocking what he said.

Celtic are well clear of their fellow Glasgow-based club as they are 13 points ahead in the Scottish Premiership, via BBC Sport, and there are only eight games for the Celts to play, so it is very likely that they will come away with their ninth title in a row.

It would be a great achievement for Neil Lennon and his side, and it would also give the fanbase more bragging rights over their fierce rivals.
