Celtic supporters have been in high spirits in recent times after seeing their side record a third straight Scottish Premiership victory on Wednesday night.
Brendan Rodgers’ men went into their clash with St Johnstone at Celtic Park off the back of wins over St Mirren and Hamilton in their preceding two league encounters, and thus seeking to continue their march towards an eighth straight title with another three points in midweek. And the Bhoys did just that as goals from Callum McGregor and Ryan Christie sealed a routine 2-0 success over St Johnstone, thus moving the Bhoys six points clear at the summit of the Scottish Premiership table.
Thus, there have been many delighted Celtic fans up and down the country in recent times, although several have taken to Twitter in recent times to convey their disappointment at the news that Tom Rogic is set for a lengthy spell out of the side due to injury.
BR on Tom Rogic: “Unfortunately, he will be out for up to six weeks. He’s seen a knee specialist in London but we’ll be without him for a while.”

The 26-year-old made the move to Celtic back in 2013 and has since played a key role in helping the Scottish giants dominate football north of the border, appearing 159 times for the Bhoys so far, netting 34 goals and laying on 28 assists in the process.
And with four goals and five assists this time round in 27 appearances in all competitions, the Australia international looked set to play another major role in whatever success Rodgers’ men might go on to have this season, yet it looks like he has returned from international duty with a knee problem to thus provide Celtic with a massive blow ahead of a busy month of action.
And manager Rodgers has confirmed (as per the club’s official Twitter handle) that the midfielder looks set for six weeks out of action as a result of the knee injury, which is news that really hasn’t gone down well among plenty of Celtic supporters on Twitter…
