Celtic completed the signing of left-back Greg Taylor from Kilmarnock yesterday on a four-year deal, as announced by the club’s official website.
Celtic also posted the news on their Twitter channel @CelticFC after the transfer was officially confirmed.
Greg Taylor joins #CelticFC on a four-year deal!

Taylor was one of three signings that the Hoops made on transfer deadline day, with Jeremie Frimpong and Lee O’Connor also joining from Manchester City and Manchester United respectively last night [via CelticFC.net].
The Hoops then sent scouts to watch him in action for Kilmarnock, according to the Daily Record, although last week the prospects of a deal going through seemed improbable after the clubs had differing valuations of the player, as claimed by the Daily Express.
However, Taylor’s signing was confirmed by Celtic yesterday and these Hoops fans on Twitter were delighted with the announcement:
Scotland’s best left back, without a doubt.
