Celtic: Fans reminisce over Tom Rogic’s stunning strike - Celtic

Celtic fans were reminiscing over one of Tom Rogic’s goals after it was shared by the club’s official Twitter account.

Back in the 2015/2016 season (19th March), the Australia international scored a stunning long-range effort as the Hoops beat Kilmarnock in the last minute of their Scottish Premiership clash at Rugby Park (via Celtic). It proved to be a crucial victory for the Celtic Park outfit as they moved four points clear of Aberdeen in the race for the Scottish Premiership title (via BBC).

One fan called him ‘handsome’, whilst another labelled the goal ‘filth’.

Commenting on the goal, Rogic claimed that it had been one of the best efforts of his career up to that point. It’s not the only peach of a strike the Australian has scored from outside of the penalty box during his time in Scotland. Back in 2018, the 27-year-old launched a stunning shot from outside of the area in his side’s 3-2 win over their Old Firm rivals. Supporters were full of complimentary messages as they took to Twitter to react to a clip. Here is a selection of tweets:
