Celtic: Fans slate former player Evander Sno

A lot of Celtic fans are discussing former player Evander Sno following a post from a fan on Twitter, and it’s safe to say that the 33-year-old wasn’t a fan favourite.
The defensive midfielder signed for the Scottish side back in 2006 from Feyernoord for £360,000, per Transfermarkt, and made 40 appearances over two seasons, whilst also managing one goal for the club.
He would never get a consistent run of games and actually only played 12 league games in his second campaign, highlighting that he was not highly rated at the club.
There was success during his career at the Hoops as the club won the Scottish title twice, but arguably it was not due to his performances. Following his time at Celtic, the Dutchman ended up in Ajax but then moved around to muliple clubs for the rest of his career.
He was most recently in the news for knocking out a bouncer outside a club in his native Holland back in 2017, via The Daily Record, and was ordered to do 76 hours community service.
Here is what fans had to say about the player:
Big Evander. The Sno man. Another Marmite Celtic player. Some swore by him and some swore at him. pic.twitter.com/xKWMXGqtM7

Bit of a stretch to say he had a good career.

Didn’t fancy him at all mate. He’s one of those players that always made me think how the hell did make it as a pro never mind sign for Celtic.
