Celtic shared an image from first team training on Tuesday on their official Twitter channel @CelticFC ahead of tonight’s Premiership clash against Hearts, with many of the club’s supporters focusing on one man in particular.
The image shows the team training amid the scenic backdrop of a snow-covered mountain, with temperatures of just 4°C in Glasgow yesterday and the city braced for severe weather conditions such as snow, high winds and low temperatures, as per Glasgow Live. However, as per @CelticFC, that didn’t deter Hoops captain Scott Brown from going about his business on the training pitch wearing a short-sleeved shirt and a pair of shorts while many of his colleagues wrapped up in jackets, hats and long tracksuits.
The 34-year-old seems to have gained a combative reputation in the eyes of some, with former Hearts manager Jim Jefferies hailing his “great heart for the game” and “iron will and commitment” (as per Daily Record), while he has been booked 129 times and shown six red cards during his Celtic career. Nonetheless, these Hoops fans on Twitter were astonished to see Brown dressed down to such an extent given the wintry conditions:
