Celtic: Fans take issue with tweet questioning Christopher Jullien

Celtic defender Christopher Jullien has been a regular fixture in the Hoops’ line-up since coming to the club last summer, making 27 appearances so far for Neil Lennon’s team.
He has enjoyed some distinguished moments in his first few months in Glasgow, with two especially memorable goals.
He netted the late winner against Lazio in the Europa League at Parkhead in October and recently scored the winning goal in the Betfred Cup final to see off Rangers.
However, it seems that not every Celtic fan has been totally enamoured with the 26-year-old defender. Twitter user celticbynum8ers (@Alan_Morrison67) felt that the Frenchman has frequently been guilty of defensive mistakes against teams lower down the Premiership table.
Teams Jullien makes defensive errors against:
Motherwell
Dunfermline
Kilmarnock
Ross Co
St Mirren
Livingston
Cluj when it doesn't matterHe's on it when it matters but you can see why in a top 5 league where he is tested every week perhaps he might not be so stellar.

By his own admission, Jullien had a day to forget in the Hoops’ defeat at Livingston in October, taking to Twitter [via @Chri6ViF] to apologise for being “too nervous” that afternoon, while former Celtic defender Jackie McNamara said that the French centre-back had “a slow start” to life in Glasgow (as per Football Insider).
These Celtic fans on Twitter disagreed with the sentiments aired by @Alan_Morrison67 in his tweet about Jullien:
Naw, you said he never made mistakes in the big games, so surely the more big games the less mistakes, you should just stick to making the stats mate.

VVD is at his absolute best against the absolute best, he’s a little slacker against those who do not rest him so much. Jullien seems to be a student of the game and will learn from his mistakes, he learned from his game vs Dykes and next time around handled it better.

It is a team game, could be a case of a few others not on it, rather hard singling players out 🤷♂️

Players make mistakes. Even VVD made them.
