The latter was the last of the three to be announced, with Celtic’s official Twitter channel @CelticFC confirming the news just nine minutes before the midnight deadline.

O’Connor, a 19-year-old defender who is part of Republic of Ireland’s under-21 squad, has signed a four-year deal with the Hoops and will rejoin his country’s international setup, having flown over from Dublin to complete the move to Celtic Park. [via CelticFC.net]

He made 21 appearances for Manchester United’s under-23 side in Premier League 2 last season, along with seven UEFA Youth League appearances. [via TransferMarkt.co.uk]

Here’s how Celtic fans reacted to the defender joining…
