Celtic: Fans reminisce over great 1987/88 team

A lot of Celtic fans are discussing a historic season for the club after a fan page posted a picture on Twitter showing the 1987/88 team photo.
The 1987–88 season was Celtic’s 99th in competitive football, and also marked the club’s centenary, per thecelticwiki The side were trophy-less after winning nothing in the 1986/87 campaign, so club legend Billy McNeill, who was part of the historic 1967/67 European cup winning team and at the time was celebrating twenty years since that great win, per Transfermarkt, became the manager.
Is this Celtic team the best in their history?
Yes

No

The reunion was perfect and a match made in heaven, as the side went on to celebrate their centenary by winning both the league title and the Scottish Cup. It seemed like the Cup might be in doubt, however the Hoops had other ideas after a dramatic final saw Frank McAvennie seal the domestic double with the winner against Dundee United with thirty seconds left on the clock, via Celtic FC.

My first team. Have an awful lot otf nostalgia for this period. Still carry a centenary badge pin my uncle gave me in my wallet from the Dundee clincher.
