Celtic: These fans had written off chances of victory before Kristoffer Ajer’s late winner at Aberdeen

Celtic made it seven straight wins in the Premiership and nine in all competitions on Sunday but they had to do it the hard way at Pittodrie.
Callum McGregor had given the league leaders an early lead before Aberdeen equalised on 27 minutes through Ash Taylor. The teams remained level going into the final 10 minutes when 21 year-old Kristoffer Ajer came up with the decisive goal for the visitors. [via BBC]
However, plenty of Hoops fans on social media had abandoned hope of maintaining their winning run prior to the Norwegian’s late intervention, with the Dons having plenty of good moments before then. BBC Scotland reporter Brian McLauchlin said that Derek McInnes’ side were “playing with a confidence that the home fans had rarely seen evidence of this season” and fashioned two decent chances late in the first half, a pattern that continued after the interval as Christopher Jullien was at one stage forced to make a crucial sliding tackle to thwart Niall McGinn in the penalty area (as per @CelticFC on Twitter).
Indeed, both teams eventually had the same number of shots at Pittodrie (six) on a day when high winds at times made life difficult for the players. These Celtic fans on Twitter had written off their team before Ajer ultimately proved them wrong:
Looking like aberdeen will get the winner seems as if they lost the desire the day but hope am wrong
