With the race for the Scottish Premiership at its tightest in years, Brendan Rodgers is overseeing quite the window for Celtic after such a slow summer for the current champions.
Indeed, with Oliver Burke, Timothy Weah and Issouf Bayo all having arrived to help reinforce the Bhoys’ bid to retain the league title for an eighth consecutive year, excitement amongst the green and white army must be palpable, despite some of the work Rangers have done of late.
While the aforementioned trio have it all to prove in Glasgow, we recently asked our Celtic supporting readers to vote on their best ever January deal. Though the New Year sales don’t always provide the best value for money, the Hoops have certainly enjoyed success here.
As you can see above, Kris Commons and Leigh Griffiths are tied with 32% of the vote each. Arriving in 2011 and 2014 respectively, the two Scottish internationals won every domestic honour with the club and remain hugely popular figures amongst supporters.
Though Commons has now retired, Celtic fans will hope Griffiths can get back to doing what he does best to hopefully help some of the recent addition into lists like these.
