Celtic: Fans react to Vakoun Issouf Bayo scoring a rare goal against Clyde - Celtic

Celtic progressed to the quarter-final of the Scottish Cup with ease on Sunday as they brushed Clyde aside 3-0 thanks to goals from Olivier Ntcham, Scott Brown and Vakoun Issouf Bayo.

It was a comfortable victory from Neil Lennon’s men, who have now won each of their last seven games, and remain on course to claim victory in every domestic competition once again this term.

For Bayo, in particular, it was a day to remember as the striker made a rare appearance and made a good case to play more often with an even rare goal. It is just his second for the club since joining more than a year ago for £2m, and should give Lennon cause for consideration in terms of playing him more often, particularly in the cup.

Supporters were quick to react to the frontman’s goal and it is fair to say some were surprised, though the general reaction has been a positive one, with many choosing to praise the 23-year-old.

Celtic fans what do you think of Bayo, are you as happy for him as some of the supporters above or do you believe that he needs to contribute with goals more often?
