Celtic have been unfortunate this season when it comes to injuries and it appears that things are about to get worse for the Bhoys.
Daniel Arzani suffered a devastating injury just 20 minutes into his debut for the Hoops in their win against Dundee last week and the worse had initially been feared.
And, it appears that those concerns have been met as the teenager took to Instagram to reveal the true extent of the injury.

Thank you to everyone who has taken the time out of their day to show support and love, I’m trying my best to reply to everyone but please understand this is also a very tough time for me as I recieved the bad news today that I will indeed need an ACL Op ruling me out until next season. Apologies to the Celtic fans for my 20 minute cameo This is however the beginning of my journey and I promise to be back better than ever. Day 1 road to recovery starts now.
The Australia international shared an emotional message on the social media site, confirming that he would require surgery on the ACL injury and would miss the remainder of the season.
He was, however, positive about the situation and stated that it was just the start of his journey and he would be back better than ever.
The injury will have been devastating for Arzani and could not have come at the worst time for the youngster.
The Australian would have been hoping to have made a real impact on the field and would have liked to have shown Brendan Rodgers what he is capable of being able to produce on the field.
One up-side, should Manchester City not decide to recall him prematurely, Arzani will look to learn from the setback and will want to prove himself at Celtic next season instead.
