Celtic are coming off the back of their League Cup success at the weekend and will return to action on Wednesday when they face Motherwell.
The Bhoys saw Old Firm rivals Rangers replace them at the top of the Scottish Premiership table at the weekend and will want to ensure that things do not remain as they are for any longer than they need to be.
Brendan Rodgers will take his team to Fir Park in what could be a potentially tricky affair, however, he will have been boosted by an injury update one of his players has provided him with.
Speaking in the pre-match press conference, via the club’s official Twitter account, Leigh Griffiths has revealed that he is fit and is ready to “kick on.”

The striker made a short cameo appearance in the game against Hamilton Academical but was not risked against Aberdeen at the weekend in their Scottish League Cup triumph, having missed a number of games with a knee injury.
Griffiths has become an extremely important player for Rodgers during their time at Celtic together and it will be a huge boost to have him available.
The £2.03million-rated striker, as per Transfermarkt, has already recorded six goals so far this season in the 18 matches across all competitions that he has managed to feature in.
However, with the news that the Scotland international is back and ready to kick on, Celtic will be looking to see him back in the squad and firing them back to the top of the Scottish Premiership table.
