Rangers fans on Twitter loved these Gerrard quotes after Hibs stalemate

On Wednesday evening Steven Gerrard’s Rangers travelled to Easter Road to take on Hibernians and after the Gers saw Celtic fall 2-0 to Neil Lennon’s side on Sunday, they’d have been wary of defeat. However, Gerrard’s side looked quality in Edinburgh and were unlucky not to come away with all three points from the clash.

After the game, Gerrard spoke to Rangers TV and claimed that the performance was brilliant. Obviously, he was frustrated that his side couldn’t find the killer touch against Hibs, but the fact that they managed to come away with a point after some solid defending and an impressive performance was pleasing for both Gerrard and the fans who made the trip from Glasgow.
Rangers’ away form has let them down at times this season. In the Gers nine games on the road, they’ve managed just three wins whilst falling to four draws and two defeats. That makes their away form better than Celtic’s but still not good enough to put them top of the Scottish Premier League. However, if Gerrard can get his side finding their killer instinct whilst keeping the performance as it was on Wednesday then that away form is sure to improve in the coming months.

The fans have full faith in Gerrard getting them back to the top and will just hope he can instil a killer instinct in his side sooner rather than later.
