Rangers fans were feeling happy after news emerged outlining the current situation at Scottish Premiership rivals Aberdeen.
A statement from the club revealed that they will be facing £5m in outgoings with no expected incomings, should there be no football until July. Recent events have seen football get suspended up and down the UK with Scotland’s top-flight having been postponed indefinitely and unlikely to resume until the 30th of April at the earliest.
As a result, the Dons have predicted a significant loss in money and the future of the club is under threat with chairman Dave Cormack claiming the current situation is ‘unsustainable’. The Ibrox outfit know all too well how it feels to go out of business with the team having been liquidated back in 2012. However, there seemed to be no show of sympathy from the supporters as they took to Twitter to laugh at their rivals. Here is a selection of tweets:
