Rangers fans have called for Steven Gerrard to drop Connor Goldson from his first-team side following his performance against Feyenoord in the Europa League.
A brilliant @EuropaLeague victory at Ibrox.

The defender was partnered with Filip Helander for their opening group match against the Dutch outfit as Nikola Katic had to make way.
It may have been no real surprise as Goldson has become a mainstay in Gerrard’s side ever since he signed for the Ibrox outfit.
The 26-year-old has gone on to make 67 appearances for the Light Blues (Transfermarkt), although it would appear many of the club’s faithful would like to see him dropped by the manager.
In truth, the former Brighton and Hove Albion defender did not have the best of games, as Rangers News noted in their player ratings that, despite being solid enough, he made a couple of silly mistakes.
According to data collected by WhoScored, Goldson did manage to win seven aerial duels, in which he produced seven clearances and blocked one shot as he achieved a match rating of 7.30.
However, fans were also not convinced with what he offered to them on the pitch, as many of them took to Twitter to complain about him after the game.
Here are just some of their reactions…
Helander beside katic would be unreal, feel for katic behind dropped especially as he’s been on form, goldson should be getting dropped instead

Helander, Jack and Davis were the best out there tonight. Goldson was rotten. #FreeKatic

Tavernier not much better
Helander and Katic for Sunday
Barisic was a pleasant surprise
Davis and Jack outstanding
Ojo missing apart from goal
Morelos top class
Feel free to agree or disagree

Goldson was very sloppy at times. He really is a weak link, is he our only right sided CB?

Goldson’s passing is horrendous.
Cost us against Celtic and nearly cost us again in the first half.
I think he’s a good player, but he’s a liability at times – he always has a mistake in him.
