Burnley have impressed some of the punters at the Football Transfer Tavern so far this season.
Tom Heaton and Michael Keane have taken a lot of the plaudits, but it has been a brilliant overall team effort from Burnley so far this season.
However, it is clear that they could do with bringing in some more faces during January just to help out what is a relatively thin squad, to ensure that they don’t burn out due to the amount of running that they do each game.
Their best bet could be to go into the loan market and our punters have been debating who they feel Burnley could get in on loan to help them beat the drop.
The landlord has been listening in and named TWO players who Burnley should get in on loan this January.
Burnley fans do you agree with these picks and who would you like to see come in during the January transfer window? Let us know.
Leonardo Ulloa

Burnley do have Sam Vokes and Andre Gray, but they could still do with some extra fire power.
Ulloa hasn’t really been getting much game time with Leicester City this season, after Slimani and Musa arrived at Leicester, so a loan move could suit Leicester, Burnley and Ulloa.
With Defour’s passing ability and crosses into the box from the wingers, Ulloa could be the man to get the goals that will steer Burnley away from relegation.
Reece Oxford

When West Ham sold James Tomkins, they said that it would give Reece Oxford and Reece Burke more first team opportunities.
However this hasn’t come into fruition yet, as Burke has been loaned out to Wigan Athletic and Oxford has had to settle for development football and a place on the first team bench.
Burnley don’t have a lot of quality depth and so Oxford’s versatility and quality mean that even at such a young age, he could be a big help for their bid to avoid relegation if he was to join.
