Sheffield United have not had the start they would have wished for as they have played their first two Premier League games of the season and lost them both without scoring, whilst they have also been knocked out of the Carabao Cup.
However the results don’t paint the full picture as they had an abundance of opportunities in their first league game against Wolves as they had nine attempts, whilst in their second Premier League game in which they lost 1-0 to Aston Villa, they were down to ten men in the first fifteen minutes and missed a penalty so they could have easily nicked some points from the fixture.
Next up is a crucial match against Leeds United, who have scored seven goals in their first two games. Here is the TT predicted XI, which sees Chris Wilder make three changes from their last fixture.
The only change in their defence will be a forced one, as John Egan was the player sent off against Villa for denying a goal scoring opportunity. Wilder brought on Ethan Ampadu, who has played 13 games for Wales, in that game to strengthen their defence, so it is likely we see the Chelsea loanee get a start for the Blades.
Meanwhile in the middle of the pitch, John Lundstram could see himself dropped to the bench, the player is still yet to sign a contract which has been offered to him for a while now and he only has one year remaining on his current deal, so it looks like he is running it down or wanting more money. This is possibly on his mind and he missed the crucial penalty against Villa which could have seen the ten men go 1-0 up, per SofaScore.
It was interesting to see Wilder bring on Ben Osborn over Oliver Norwood, and in the 27 minutes he was on, he managed 18 touches, eight accurate passes and one accurate cross, per SofaScore, so he could be given the nod for this fixture.

Up front it was a tough day at the office for David McGoldrick, who was sacrificed early on due to the red card, whilst Oliver Burke was given his first Premier League start for the club and it was a hard task as he had to play as a lone attacker.
When on the pitch, McGoldrick lost possesion four times, committed two fouls and only completed 43% of his passes, per SofaScore, and therefore Wilder might select Oliver McBurnie to partner up alongside 23 year-old Burke for the Leeds match.
