Sheffield Wednesday continue to look for more players they can add to their squad before the 2020/21 season and they are now linked with defender Dion Sanderson.
According to journalist Dom Howson, the Owls are reportedly keeping close tabs on the Wolves defender, who was on loan at Cardiff City last season.
The player was a solid asset for the Welsh side as he managed on average 1.2 tackles, 1.4 interceptions and 2.1 clearances per game, via WhoScored, in 10 Championship appearances last season and at only the age of 20, he is showing that he has the potential to grow into a quality centre-back.

He impressed during this loan move, and this should please supporters of the Owls, however this would mean the club has six centre-backs if he arrived, and with Jordan Rhodes currently the only striker at the club, some of the fan base would prefer if the Owls were looking at attacking options.

Can he fill in up front as well?

Watched him a few times for Cardiff and looked a good young player

Hope he’s good up front

This would be a top signing if we can pull it off. Cardiff fans want him back and Wolves fans want him to be given a chance. All though can’t say I’m confident.

Very good versatile singing fitting to how we like to play with 3 at the back.

This would be another smart Garry Monk signing. Being at Wolves, he’s used to the 3atb system, playing as a RCB. I can’t see him replacing Iorfa, but if Iorfa moved to the centre, I could see him filing in there. Also opens the door for maybe another CB to leave on loan? #SWFC https://t.co/xj6dSSUqSj
