Sheffield Wednesday supporters will be raring to go for the upcoming campaign, and it will feel like the start is near as the Championship 2020/21 fixtures were recently announced.
The club tweeted out an image showing all the fixtures of the new season, which will start on September 12th, and the Owls face a very tricky away trip to start their season as they face Cardiff, who finished in the play-offs last season.

The first game at Hillsborough on the 19th September is also a very hard fixture as they face Watford, who were relegated from the Premier League last season and so Garry Monk will have to make sure that he gets pre-season exactly right so that the squad are fit and raring to go for Championship campaign.
It doesn’t help either that the club currently have a 12 point deduction, so they already have a big challenge, but they are already preparing well as they have made three signings. There has been a mixed reaction from a lot of the Owls fan base as some are worried about the start, whilst others are just fit and raring for the season to start.

We are going to need a squad & a half to get through December, with 8 games the list looks unbalanced, pretty sure they’ll be praying for a significant snow fall just for some recovery time.
