With plenty of rumours flying about, the Chelsea fans in the Tavern tonight are wondering what Antonio Conte is going to do…

There is still a considerable amount of time left in this summer’s transfer window but that won’t stop clubs from wanting to wrap up any deals long before then.

It is no secret that Chelsea like spending money, but it is also no secret that they don’t have many areas in their side that need improving.

They will surely need to mix things up a bit to keep the rest of the division on its toes if they want to win a second league title in a row, but what major decisions really need to be made by The Blues?

Axe Nemanja Matic

Nemanja Matic looked decent last year, but he was far from perfect, and with Tiemoue Bakayoko all but certain to be making his way to Stamford Bridge, it might be better for all if he does leave.

Nemanja Matic has been a good servant to Chelsea and he still has a lot left in the tank.

Chelsea should cash in now whilst they can.

Sign Alvaro Morata

With Diego Costa looking more and more likely each day to be leaving Chelsea, Conte will be in desperate need of a new striker especially after Lukaku snubbed them for Man United.

Morata is likely to be wanted man across Europe and if Chelsea don’t pick up the Madrid forward sooner rather than later, he could go somewhere else and they may find themselves lacking a top class forward for the new season.
