West Ham fans in the Transfer Tavern are finally seeing some intent from their side in this transfer window.

The Hammers recently had a bid for Marko Arnautović rejected and Man City’s Kelechi Iheanacho and Senegalese midfielder Badou N’Diaye have both been linked with the club.

After a mediocre season last time around, boss Slaven Bilic has managed to regain his position as the leader of West Ham and our landlord believes that a big transfer window as well as a strong start to the season is needed to waive off the early season pressure that may be on him.

With that said, it is a common view from all in the Tavern that Bilic was let down by a lot of his senior players last season and he may well have to axe a couple of players from his squad that have not helped his cause. It also means that he will have to replace them with players he knows can do a job for him.

This issue has sparked a real debate among the regular Hammers in the Tavern and they have outlined the major transfer decisions that Bilic needs to make in terms of axing and signing players over the next few weeks.

With Adrian’s contract being extended until 2019, the future of Darren Randolph doesn’t look to be at West Ham in the future.

The Republic of Ireland keeper was given an extended run in the Hammers’ first team last season but the truth is that he was a major part of one of the Premier League’s leakiest defence in 2016/17 which our landlord believes means he will be axed by Slaven Bilic for the coming season.

SIGN: Joe Hart

As aforementioned, West Ham lacked a real leader between the sticks last season and the fans in the Tavern believe now is the time to break the bank for Joe Hart and bring him to the London Stadium for the coming season.

It is no secret that Hart is out of favour at current club, Manchester City, and the thought is that a deal will be easy to strike should Slaven Bilic be serious about capturing his man.
