Sign these 3 players and Liverpool will win the title easily

Liverpool have already had a busy time so far this Summer in the Transfer market, but here are three more signings which would mean the Premier League title would definitely come to Merseyside for the first time.

Last season felt like a major building block for Liverpool. Reaching a Champions League final and playing superb football in the process, Liverpool like to have returned to the force they once were. Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino formed a near unstoppable front three in Liverpool red last season.

German manager Jurgen Klopp has not rested on his laurels. He has added some real quality to Anfield in this window, Midfielders Naby Keita and Fabinho have been added, Keita for a club record fee. The club haven’t stopped there either, Switzerland international Xherdan Shaqiri has been signed, after Liverpool triggered his £13m release clause. The strength in depth the club has in midfield is now something to behold.

However, there are still a couple of issues which need resolving. Notably, the goalkeeping situation. The German manager has gone to great lengths to defend Loris Karius after his howler in the Champions League final. However, not signing a stopper and relying on Karius and Simon Mignolet as goalkeeping options could cost Liverpool dearly in their hunt for a Premier League title.

The club were also slightly ‘top heavy’ last season. The signing of Dutch centre back Virgil Van Dijk went some way to solving their defensive issues, but the club still often looked vulnerable at the back. The Anfield outfit too often relied simply on out-scoring teams to win, rather than being built on solid defensive foundations.

With that in mind, here are three signings Liverpool could make which would surely seal them a first Premier League title…

The Barcelona goalkeeper needs to be signed by Jurgen Klopp.

Whilst the stopper is behind German Ter Stegen at the Catalan giants, he would nonetheless be a huge upgrade of both Loris Karius and Simon Mignolet.

The club should easily be able to lure the stopper to Anfield with the promise of regular starting eleven football. Despite not playing regularly in La Liga, he has played every game in the clubs consecutive Copa Del Rey winning campaigns.

Cillessen has great distribution and shot stopping qualities, he was in fine form for Dutch side Ajax before making the switch to Catalonia. This could be the signing which truly takes the club to the next level.

The centre back would be a perfect partner for Virgil Van Dijk.

He would provide great competition for Dejan Lovren for a starting place in the Premier League, but with the amount of cup football Liverpool will be playing next season, Harry Maguire would be a superb addition.

After being in fine form for Leicester and being in excellent in the World Cup, Maguire deserves his chance at a club the stature of Liverpool.

Klopp should do everything to bring the centre back to Anfield.

Wilfried Zaha would add fantastic depth at Anfield.

Whilst Liverpool’s front three were unstoppable last season, strength in depth is always a good thing. Wilfried Zaha is the talisman at Crystal Palace, he puts in outstanding performances week after week for the Eagles.

He possesses superb strength and skill, and has recently found an end product to his game. It didn’t work out for the Ivorian at Manchester United, but he has earnt his chance to move to a club the size of Liverpool.

He would be a fantastic impact sub to bring off the bench, and would start plenty of games in cup competitions.
