West Ham have been tearing it up of late and we here at the Transfer Tavern have enjoyed watching them climb to within touching distance of the Europa league spots.
They have a tough run in the next few games and it may be beneficial if they rotate the team up a bit, to optimise the club’s chances of victory.
The east London outfit has regularly featured some of their players out of position and haven’t utilised their whole squad, when at times it could have put them in better stead.
In particular at the back they’ve opted to play players out of position, which has at times, cost the club some vital points.
Our landlord has been having a lengthy debate with the regular Hammers here in the Tavern, and has decided to look closely at the squad, and more specifically, which fringe players simply need to be utilised more.
With that in mind, here are TWO players our landlord thinks Bilic is missing a trick not utilising…
ALVARO ARBELOA

When you have a former World Cup and Champions League winner in your ranks why would you opt to instead playing a central midfielder at right-back ahead of him?
It’s clear to see that Bilic has missed a trick with this one.
The former Madrid man could be the answer to their defensive woes of this season.
Edimilson Fernandes

The 20-year-old attacking midfielder has found it hard to break into the first team at the London Stadium since arriving.
However, when he has played, he has consistently caused the opposition players problems.
At such a young age, Bilic should look to start utilising him more, as regular first-team football in the Premier League will help develop and mature him as a footballer.
