The West Ham fans have been riding a rollercoaster this season, and our landlord has been hearing all about it whilst pulling his resident Hammers’ pints in the Transfer Tavern this season.
An indifferent start to the season saw them struggle to adjust to their stadium move from Upton Park to the London Stadium and to add insult to injury, Dimitri Payet’s refusal to play for the club really sent alarm bells through out all sectors of the West Ham fan base, as the Frenchman left the Premier League in order to return to French club, Marseille.
After all that drama, Slaven Bilic and his men currently occupy 11th place in the Premier League and although that is no disaster – our Landlord was expecting the Croatian to be able to build on a great first season with West Ham, which saw them finish above the likes of Liverpool and Chelsea in a 7th place finish.
The Hammers’ problem have been their inconsistency and after Saturday’s 3-2 defeat to Bournemouth, the West Ham punters in the Tavern have started to point the finger at certain players.
Whether it is right or wrong, these players have been receiving the brunt of the criticism and our landlord believes that the fans have a point.
Here are the TWO players our Landlord believes should be axed by Bilic in the run in of the Premier League…..
Sofiane Feghouli

The Frenchman simply has not been very impressive in his first season in a West Ham shirt, and our landlord cannot believe he is still occupying a place on the right wing in Slaven Bilic’s starting XI.
Although, he signed for the Hammers on a free.
Feghouli has still been disappointing with his contribution this season, scoring just 2 goals and creating 3 assists in 17 appearances.
Mark Noble

A real point of debate among the resident Hammers fans in the Transfer Tavern, should Bilic drop his captain, Noble, for the Premier League run in.
Our landlord believes he should, as he just simply has not hit the heights that we have become accustomed to expecting from him, and although it will be a tough decision, Noble must simply be dropped for the Premier League run in.
