Loads of Southampton fans have been left fuming after the ticket prices for the club’s FA Cup fourth-round replay against Tottenham were announced.
Adult tickets will cost £25, £15 more than what tickets cost for the first game at St. Mary’s. This has irked supporters, who have heavily criticised the north London club, labelling the move as “disgraceful” and a “joke”.
This comes after the two sides played out an entertaining 1-1 draw on the south coast. Spurs initially took the lead after Son Heung-min fired home following a fantastic bit of play from Giovani Lo Celso.
However, the South Korean’s strike was not enough for Jose Mourinho’s men as the home side went on to find an equaliser through Sofiane Boufal and set up a replay at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. The game has been scheduled for Wednesday 5th February.
Take a look at what Southampton fans have been saying about the ticket controversy below…
How come the tickets at St Marys were £10 for an adult for Spurs fans. Why are @SpursOfficial not doing the same for us?
