Southampton: Fans unhappy with Walker-Peters news

Southampton: Fans unhappy with Walker-Peters news - Southampton News

Southampton fans are far from happy with the news that Kyle Walker-Peters is to miss the Saints’ clash against Arsenal on Tuesday.

Ralph Hasenhuttl’s side were victorious against the Gunners in the F.A Cup on Saturday as they prevailed 1-0 – the win sees them through to the fifth round of the competition, where they will face Wolves. The Saints are clearly eager to do well in the cup as Hasenhuttl put out a strong starting XI.

Can you name all ten obscure Saints players? First up, who is this?

Walker-Peters, though, is set to miss out on the Premier League match due to a muscle injury, and it is not clear as to how long he will be out of the action (The Daily Echo). This is no doubt a blow for Southampton as the right-back has been a solid performer so far this campaign.

Will Southampton beat Arsenal?

The fans, it seems, are gutted by this news, and they took to social media platform Twitter to share their thoughts.

“HUGE loss for Southampton who have another injury concern – this time it’s Kyle Walker-Peters. He’s picked up a ‘quad injury’ with Ralph saying ‘Hopefully, it’s not too bad’. That means both Walker-Peters and Ryan Bertrand are BOTH missing against Arsenal tomorrow. #SaintsFC”
