Southampton: Fans hammer Nathan Remond - Southampton News

Southampton fans were far from happy with the performance of Nathan Redmond against Wolves in the F.A Cup on Thursday.

The Saints made it through to the quarter-finals of the competition as they won 2-0 thanks to goals from Danny Ings and Stuart Armstrong. They will now face Bournemouth away from home in a south-coast derby for a place in the semi-finals.

Can you name all ten obscure Saints players? First up, who is this?

For this match, Redmond was selected up front alongside Ings. While he was playing in an unfamiliar position, his finishing was very poor as he missed two huge opportunities. If he is looking to play as a striker more regularly, this will not have convinced Ralph Hasenhuttl.

Should Redmond play up front?

The fans were disappointed with his showing, and they took to social media platform Twitter to share their thoughts.
