Southampton fans want to sign Liverpool's Divock Origi this summer after the St Mary's outfit were linked with a move for the Belgium international.

Saints will be hoping to improve on a disappointing last term that saw them finish 15th in the Premier League table. Their run to the F.A Cup semi-finals, though, will give Ralph Hasenhuttl hope that his side can be more competitive in the league this coming campaign.

The club were hit with a bit of a bombshell when Danny Ings turned down a new four-year contract on the south coast which would have made him the highest-paid player in their history (Sky Sports).

As such, they could be on the lookout for a new striker and, according to 90min.com, the Saints are interested in £10.8m-valued Origi (Transfermarkt).

The news was shared on Twitter by @SaintsExtra, and it attracted plenty of attention from the supporters. They took to the social media platform to share their thoughts.
