Southampton fans have been reacting to the news that Jan Bednarek’s red card against Manchester United has been rescinded and he will now be available this weekend to face Newcastle.
The Saints were hammered 9-0 at Old Trafford by the Red Devils on what was a dire Tuesday evening for Ralph Hasenhuttl and co. They were up against it as soon as Alexandre Jankewitz was sent off after three minutes, and things went from bad to worse.

Bednarek was sent off late in the second half after appearing to foul Anthony Martial in the penalty area. That looked to be a harsh decision, and it has now been decided that the Poland international will not miss any games through suspension. Given the list of players currently unavailable to Hasenhuttl, that can only be taken positively.

The news, which was shared by Adam Blackmore on Twitter, delighted the Saints supporters, and they took to the social media platform to share their thoughts, with a few digs at Martial and Mike Dean for good measure.
