Southampton have been busy trying to bolster their squad ahead of the upcoming Premier League campaign and have enjoyed some success.
Mark Hughes managed to steer the Saints to safety by the skin of their teeth last season as Championship football looked a real possibility.
The manager has been busy rebuilding his squad in all areas so far this summer with the likes of Angus Gunn, Jannik Vestergaard, Stuart Armstrong and Mohamed Elyounoussi all joining the St. Mary’s Stadium outfit.
Hughes has also let the likes of Sofiane Boufal and Dusan Tadic leave the club this summer and reports are suggesting that he has identified the man that he feels can replace them.
Now of AS Monaco, the Algeria international has continued to impress the Saints and it is thought the club are considering to swoop back in for him after an impressive season at the Principality club.
The Verdict:

Ghezzal would be an extremely useful addition to the Saints this summer as they require a number of attack-minded players.
The Algerian is fairly versatile as he can play on both wings, however, he could be a costly addition for Southampton this summer.
He only joined Monaco on a free transfer last summer and has three years still remaining on his current deal, which could mean the Ligue One outfit ask for a huge fee.
