Chelsea fans are looking up with bemused expressions on their faces here in the Football Transfer Tavern as they see the viral image that has been beamed onto the big screen, and frankly, we don’t blame them.
As one of our regulars laughs over a couple of beers and burgers with our landlord, it might just explain where Eden Hazard has been for the past three months, because he certainly hasn’t been at the races for Chelsea – and needs to improve fast.
We think there are a few Chelsea players who have been poor, but for someone who was so sublime last season, we did expect a huge amount from the Belgian this term, and he has not delivered – at all, meaning his side have struggled massively.
