This summer has been very slow for Tottenham fans so far. The club are yet to sign a single player and there are less than 36 hours of the transfer window left, however, according to The Evening Standard, Spurs are set for a busy end to the window and are targetting four new players before Thursday’s 5 pm deadline.
[@StandardSport] understands that Tottenham Hotspur are still looking to sign four players this summer before the transfer window officially slams shuts on Thursday.

According to the report in The Standard, Tottenham are keen on signing both Jack Grealish, obviously, and Tanguy Ndombele from Lyon. However, the report is slightly more ambiguous with the other two supposed incomings out of the four, only claiming that the club will be targetting a centre-half and a centre-forward to complement the current side.
If that is the case then there won’t be any disappointed Tottenham fans out there and all of a sudden the anxiety over having no new players will turn to excitement and the buzz around the club will be very different as they kick off their season away at St James Park in a repeat of last season’s Premier League opener for the club. Most fans are pessimistic over this, though, and will only believe it when they see four shiny new additions holding up Tottenham shirts outside Hotspur Way.

As you can see, optimism isn’t on tap with Tottenham fans and they’ll be absolutely buzzing to get two signings in, let alone four.
