Tottenham fans react to Football Insider’s report that coaches at the club believe they have a “potential world-beater on their hands” in Ryan Sessegnon.
Since joining the Lilywhites last summer from a relegated Fulham side, the England U21 international has played just 12 games for the club across all competitions, scoring only once and providing one assist.
A hamstring injury ruled him out for the majority of the start of the season, but even since his return, he has struggled to really force himself into first-team contention on a regular basis.

Despite that, Football Insider have claimed that coaches at the north London club believe they have a potential superstar in their ranks, and that Jose Mourinho intends on using him in more advanced roles on the left and right flanks.
After hearing about the report on Sessegnon, Spurs fans flooded to Twitter to voice their thoughts on the 19-year-old.
People are too harsh on this guy. He’s young, had no preseason and is learning a new position. He was never going to be the finished product in his first season with us.

Sessegnon has brilliant potential, he just didn’t perform up to the required level for Spurs this season. However, he’s shown at Fulham previously what he can do so I still have faith in him.
