He made just two Premier League starts throughout the campaign, stalling his development significantly.
Nevertheless, the Blues are set to receive further interest in the 22-year-old, according to the Daily Mail.
According to the report, newly-promoted Burnley are ready to make a move for the England under-21 international in an effort to bolster their attacking ranks.
They claim that a deal to take him to Lancashire on a season-long loan is expected to be agreed.
Able to play across the front three, Bamford will likely act as attacking cover for both Sam Vokes and Andre Gray.
