It’s been a frustrating season for West Ham fans in the Transfer Tavern.

With last Saturday’s 1-0 win against Swansea ending a run of five straight defeats in the Premier League, our landlord is happy to see his resident Hammers fans endure some rest bite whilst enjoying their weekly pints in the Tavern.

Saying this, there is no doubt that Slaven Bilic’s men have under performed this season and our landlord has outlined that this hasn’t been helped by the forced departure of their former talisman, Dimitri Payet, in the January transfer window.

The creative force of Payet has not really been replaced by anyone in the squad, and our resident Iron fans in the Tavern would love to see Bilic given the freedom to bring in some real talent in the Summer transfer window.

Our landlord could not agree more and feels the club really needs some talent to light up the London Stadium.

He has been in his beer cellar after hours looking at the potential talent the Hammers should go in for and has created quite the list.

Of course, this list has coursed much debate in the Tavern but the West Ham fans in the Tavern have outlined the top THREE players they feel their club should scout.

Mario Mandzukic

Slaven Bilic’s interest in his countryman, Mario Mandzukic, have been handed a boost following reports that the Juve striker’s talks with Turkish side, Besiktas have broken down.

West Ham fans are screaming for their scouts to be sent out to watch Mandzukic and for this transfer to be pushed through, as the Croat is a well known goalscorer and everyone knows that real goalscorers are like gold dust in the modern day.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek

Whilst Loftus-Cheek seemingly has all the talent in the world, he cannot force his way in to a Chelsea midfield which has been pivotal in the Blues’ rise to the top of the Premier League.

Our landlord believes a move to West Ham would benefit both Loftus-Cheek and the Hammers, and the common thought in the Transfer Tavern from the resident Irons is that Bilic needs to send his scouts to check out the England U21 starlet as soon as possible.

Dani Garcia

With Pedro Obiang and Cheikhou Kouyaté impressing this season and surely becoming transfer targets for other clubs this summer, should Slaven Bilic send his scouts to Eibar to look at their defensive midfielder, Dani Garcia.

Our landlord believes looking at Garcia wouldn’t be a bad option, especially considering how leaky the Hammers have been at the back this year.
