Sunderland were impressive in their 3-1 victory over Accrington Stanley at the weekend and moved up to fifth place in the table and respected fan site Roker Report gave every player at least a 6/10 for their performances.
Indeed, goals from Lynden Gooch, Aiden McGeady and Marc McNulty ensured the Black Cats cruised to victory, as they begin to push on to where they want to be, come the end of the season.
With four wins under their belts from seven League One games thus far, Sunderland will hope to extend that record with two wins in a matter of days, as do their counterparts on Tuesday evening, Rotherham. After they put six past a damaged Bolton side, the Black Cats must be on their game to nullify the attacking threat they possess and be clinical in-front of goal yet again.
So what will the starting line-up be as the Black Cats eye a second win in a row?
Jack Ross should be very pleased with the way his team performed away at Accrington Stanley, so much so, he should entrust the same eleven players from the start.
Marc McNulty scored his first league goal of the season, which hopefully will give him the confidence to go on and keep scoring, despite Will Grigg knocking on the door to start.
The midfield base of George Dobson and Grant Leadbitter has been solid enough thus far given the results (though Roker Report did suggest the pair did look somewhat overwhelmed at times) and will have to be once again, in order to help out defensively and stop Rotherham from progressing forward.
On the wings, McGeady and Gooch have five goals between them and their pace, trickery and goalscoring ability will be handy against a Rotherham team who have conceded over a goal or game.
