Maurizio Sarri arrives at Chelsea with a tough job on his hands. Propelling the club back into the top four will be a difficult task for the Italian, with several top clubs strengthening heavily.
The club have been put in a difficult situation, with Roman Abramovich not able to work in the UK. This comes after the Russian owner’s UK Work Visa expired. Chelsea fans will still be hoping the owner his fully invested in bringing the best possible talent to Stamford Bridge. Sarri has less time to prepare his Chelsea side for the beginning of the season, due to Conte leaving the club being dragged out through a large chunk of the summer.
The club have certainly shown some ambition in bringing in Jorginho, but more additions are required if Chelsea are serious about competing right at the very top of the Premier League. There are several areas across the park the Blues look like they could strengthen in, and they also face a battle to keep hold of the talents of Eden Hazard and Willian.
With that in mind, surely Abramovich can’t fail to sign these two ideal Maurizio Sarri players…
Kalidou Koulibaly is a player very familiar to Maurizio Sarri, as the Italian managed the player during his time with Napoli.
Koulibaly is a tall and imposing 6ft 5 centre back who would be sure to add much solidity to the Chelsea back-line. His ability goes beyond winning everything in the air, he is a composed ball-playing defender who would allow Chelsea to play out from the back with ease. Signing Koulibaly could see Stamford Bridge return to being the fortress it once was.
The 27-year-old would not come cheap. Transfermarkt value the defender at £60m.
Abramovich should look to tie up a deal for Koulibaly ASAP.

Last season, Zaha looked to add a lethal finishing touch to his game, which has taken his game to the next level.
